The A-Club - What is it?
The A-Club Alumni Association, more commonly referred to as the A-Club, is the athletic letter-winners organization for the University of Alabama.
The A-Club's primary purposes are threefold:
- To provide a means for the former student-athletes of the University who earned varsity letters in any of the sports for men and women recognized by the NCAA to gather from time to time for certain social purposes;
- To promote the interests and mission of the University of Alabama; and
- To support the Athletic Department, the athletic programs, and the current student-athletes of the University of Alabama.
A-Club activities throughout the year include, but are not limited to, pre-game meals at every home football game, reunions, the A-Club Classic golf events, the spring A-Day weekend, and various events to raise funds for endowed scholarships Services include newsletters, e-mail blasts, the administration of the A-Club football ticket program for football lettermen, and the coordination of A-Club Committees for all sports.
